Food Photography
Whether you are a foodie wanting to produce Instagram-worthy photos or an aspiring food photographer, this beginner workshop will equip you to shoot delectable photos using simple yet effective techniques.
In this class, you will combine theory and practice with staged food prepared by our instructors and cover topics like composition, controlling and using available light, useful gear tips, and creating easy, at-home studio set-ups.
Recommended:
Digital Cameras I or equivalent.
Topics covered:
Overview of used settings for indoor food photography.
Composition in relation to food photography.
Natural light, mood/tone, creating a mood with affordable light set-ups.
Logistics to consider when doing your own photoshoot.
What to Bring:
Camera with manual mode settings (DSLR, mirrorless, advanced point-and-shoots).
Tripod (Min. Height: 24”).
Fully charged battery.
Empty memory card.
Notepad and pen.
