Better Composition: Photo Walk
Improve your photos while exploring the neighborhoods of Boston. Our photo walks are great for photographers of any skill level, to learn about their cameras and develop your compositional skills.
What to expect: Students will meet the instructor in a public place, then work side-by-side for the entire session to take better pictures in the field. Shooting in a variety of locations, students can ask in-depth questions on-site and pick up valuable tips from our professional photographers.
Topics covered:
Improving your everyday photos with easy and helpful tips.
Applied manual mode instruction: shutter speed, aperture, and ISO.
Introduction and explanation of composition rules and techniques.
How to scout and seek images like a pro.
What to Bring:
Camera with manual mode settings (DSLR, mirrorless, advanced point-and-shoots).
Fully charged battery.
Empty memory card.
