Itinerary
The workshop will be easy paced with lots of time for making. Our schedule is tentative and may be adjusted based on weather:
Day 1
Meeting in a little before lunch, we’ll meet up as a group near Wellfleet to make introductions. To help get warmed up we’ll explore a nature preserve, photographing lush landscapes and hopefully some small wildlife.
After a quick pit stop for a coffee and picnic dinner supplies we’ll make our way towards Provincetown and photograph the nearby seashore.
The rest of the evening will be spent photographing the golden colors of the setting sun, and then the rising full moon over beach dunes!
Day 2
The next day we’ll visit Highlight Lighthouse and scout our evening location, learning how to best plan for full moon photography.
Next we’ll visit Provincetown and photograph the colorful streets and capture the charm of the historic city.
After dinner we’ll stick around and photograph the rising moon over the boats of Provincetown harbor. We’ll close the night returning to Highland Light where we’ll capture images of the full moon, the iconic lighthouse and the night sky.
Day 3
Finishing strong, we’ll have an AM photo-stroll at a nearby lighthouse and capture the early morning golden light.
After a breakfast break, the group will meet at a nearby conference center, learn about editing photos, and share a group slideshow.
By early afternoon we’ll call it a wrap and say our goodbyes.
+ Prior to the workshop, you’ll receive a detailed itinerary with all relevant locations, address, and meeting times. Our schedule, locations, and times are weather dependent and may change along the way.

About the Instructors
Chris Sanchez: Founder of the BPW, Chris has spent over 10 years taking photographs around the world for work and for fun. A lover of all things food-related and astrophotography, Chris has more snacks in his bag than lenses, but still gets great photos. If you need a snack... you know who to ask.
Kathy Sferra: Kathy got hooked on photography in college when she received her first 35mm camera. Nothing makes her happier than being outside with a camera, studying the landscape and looking for just the right light.
