ICM Photography
Discover new possibilities with “intentional camera movement”
ICM (Intentional camera movement) is a creative and experimental approach to capturing images. Unlike traditional photography, where the goal is often to achieve sharpness and clarity, ICM embraces blur and abstraction to convey mood, emotion, and movement.
In ICM photography we intentionally move the camera during the exposure to create unique and artistic effects. By playing with the camera's settings, movement, and composition, we can produce images that are visually dynamic and full of energy.
What to Expect:
Meeting at an outdoor location the group will discuss ICM basics and get everyone comfortable with settings and basic techniques. For the rest of the workshop participants will make their own ICM photos while learning techniques for achieving different effects, selecting appropriate subjects, and refining our artistic vision.
