Flash, speed light, or pocket strobe: There are many names for the small external light often seen in camera bags. From portraits to weddings, at home studios or outdoor scenes, these small auxiliary lights are tremendously useful for photographers of all kinds.
While flash photography can seem intimidating, it doesn’t need to be difficult to learn—or use. Our in-person workshop will introduce you to the anatomy of the flash, the essential buttons and controls, and simple and practical ways to starting using this fundamental tool right away.
During this thorough, practical, and hands-on class, you will have the option of bringing your own flash or learning with one provided by the studio at no additional charge.
